production meeting 4

During this week I have taken the lighting techniques which I had researched within the previous lesson and  incorporated that within the master script I used them to create the timings of the lighting techniques for example which lighting needs to be used and which time and angle they will need to be set at I used it according to what types of shots there were and which lighting would suit that shot.
I worked with a lot of the classmates within media along side the master script and the lighting techniques I worked with Jasmeet the director to see which lighting would suit the shots she went for as well as Jasmeet I worked with the floor manager Prinul to see where the presenters and the cameras would be in line of the lighting as well then used it in the master script and saved it up.
During this week I worked well with the master script in doing the shots according to the lighting I worked well with the deadline which was asked by Jasmeet and sir I took the shots and did them one shot by one to make sure I didn't make any mistakes and to avoid any future mistakes.
The things I would change is the types of lighting I used in some areas and maybe the tints I would go for a wider range of coloured tints within each shot to vary them and get a wider range of choice and selection for the shots, I don't feel that I would change much else within my area of the task the lighting department
I worked well with my peers I worked well with Jasmeet and Kaval as they both helped me with my lighting element of my job roles they were both really helpful and gave good ideas and advice on what to do within each shot of the master script and which lighting would look good within each shot for the multi camera production which we will be creating for this module.

production meeting 3

During this week I researched the different types of lighting techniques which are used in these productions and how they are used and where they are used. After I had gotten the eight different types of lighting techniques I drew little diagrams of them to get myself familiar with them and to see how they are used and how they work after doing this I worked with Kaval to test the different combinations of tints and took pictures of the different combos to see how the tints would look and how they would turn out on camera which I then wrote up edited and uploaded to my blogger.
During this week I found the pictures to be quite successful I understood the lighting techniques well and was able to use them myself and understand the terminology.
The things in which I need to change is some of the pictures as a couple of them did not come out correctly and were incorrectly named so I will go home and change the during the weekend.
For next week’s lesson I will be creating the queue for the lighting timings and other things which will go towards the master plan for the class and the production altogether.
I worked well with my peers I worked well with Jasmeet and Kaval as they both helped me with my lighting element of my job roles they were both really helpful and gave good ideas and advice.

production meeting 2

The points I had bought up within the second weekly reflection meeting for our production was the areas in which the lighting would be located on set on the day of our multi camera live production, in order to do this I had to work with the floor manager and create a plan of the room to get a better idea of where the lights would need to go in order to achieve the best look on camera possible when it came to the final production. The reason I had chose to create a plan was because I had little knowledge of the room and when I showed my initial ideas of the lighting position there were many faults and so I thought it was best to create a plan in which everything was highlighted like the cameras so I would know where to place the Lighting without hindering the others within their own individual job roles, this helped me to explain my role of the lighting to the class a bit better than what I had initially done. There were many successful elements within our group, in order to stay in touch and communicate ideas outside of school we created a group chat with the members of the class via whatsapp in order to give and receive ideas regarding not only my ideas but other class mates ideas which could benefit my job role. The things which needed to be changed which I had done through that lesson or following lessons was to create a floor plan similar to the way prinul had done his plan which would help me make my role easier and for the final production to run as smooth as possible within minimal errors. Next week I intend to discuss with the group on what there roles are so I can help with what lighting they want how they want it to create a plan before we begin filming the production.
I worked well with the peers they gave me good advice and improvement in my area of the roles and gave me good criticism I learnt a lot of new things within this group.
