Production meeting reflection 1

The first of the many weekly production meetings of our media multi camera production was done within a classroom round a table with our class mates as well as the teachers, we all began slowly going around the table pitching our own individual ideas to each other and began picking the things that we found to be good elements for the ideas and some elements which we didn't feel was strong or very appealing for the audience at home. The discussion was slow to start off being that people were nervous to speak within a group of people but after a while we felt comfortable in exchanging ideas and began doing so.The response in which my classmates gave for my idea was that although it was a good idea at first there were some areas which lacked creativity flair or ingenuity when it came to things like games which were going to be involved in the show the games had been done in many multi camera productions and did not seem very original, however they did like the idea of the blurred face game which was creative however was still similar to what a lot of other shows were doing in terms of games. The group liked the name of my show "drop the bass"and the way I added the audience interaction for things such as the twitter question of the day which allowed the audience to follow along and interact from home.  After discussion we had all decided to go for Jada's idea of creating a show called "the beat" which I found to be an original name which clearly connoted the shows genre and atmosphere to the audience, the aspects which I liked were some of the games she had gone for which I thought were original and hadn't been done before like the guess the face game I thought was fun for the guest and the audience if they were playing at home.
However I did not feel like the title of the show had a good colour scheme it blended in with the spray paint effect in the background and was not clearly visible for the view at home
